Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Staffing

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job posting, screening, interviewing, and hiring.
  • Ensure all new hires are onboarded efficiently, including orientation and training.
  • Maintain accurate and updated employee records and contracts.

Payroll & Compensation

  • Process monthly payroll accurately and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Manage employee claims, leave applications, and salary adjustments.
  • Ensure statutory payments (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB) are processed correctly and on time.

Employee Relations & Performance Management

  • Address and resolve employee concerns, grievances, and workplace issues professionally.
  • Conduct regular employee performance reviews and quarterly assessments.
  • Implement disciplinary actions in accordance with company policies when necessary.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture and maintain high levels of employee engagement.

HR Administration & Compliance

  • Maintain and update HR systems, ensuring accuracy in employee attendance, leave, and payroll data.
  • Ensure all HR documentation, such as staff records and payroll reports, are well-organized and easily retrievable.
  • Adhere to employment laws, company policies, and best HR practices.

Training & Development

  • Assist in organizing training sessions and workshops for employee development.
  • Monitor staff performance and identify training needs to enhance productivity.
  • Encourage continuous learning and career growth opportunities within the company.

Employee Welfare & Workplace Environment

  • Ensure employees’ welfare, including health benefits, safety measures, and general well-being, are well taken care of.
  • Plan and coordinate employee engagement activities, including team-building events and celebrations.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive workplace that aligns with Gula Cakery’s values.

Qualifications

  • Minimum SPM or Certificate/Diploma in relevant background.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws, payroll systems, and HR management software.
